Welcome to my page!
My name is Liz Close and this is my 5th year teaching at Anderson High School. I received my BA in History from the University of New Hampshire and my MA in Education from the University of Texas at Austin. Teaching Social Studies at the secondary level is truly my dream job, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with the students at this campus.
I currently teach 3 sections of World Geography, 2 section of Blended Pre-AP World Geography, and 1 section of Ethnic Studies. Ethnic Studies is an excellent new elective being offered by the Austin Independent School District. Students have the option to take one semester or a whole year. Please feel free to email me with questions.
All class materials can be found on BLEND. Please use the calendar to access what we do each day.
All presentations and files for class are available.
Please reach out to me VIA email- it is the best way to get a quick response.
