The varsity tennis team finished their season yesterday with a hard fought battle against Austin High. We have had a great season and are looking forward to the spring!
Attention Students: Homecoming Dance tickets sales start Wednesday and Thursday of this week. We will be in the cafeteria foyer during lunch. Tickets are $20 cash. The homecoming dance is at the Red Oak Ballroom and the dress code is semi-formal. It's going to be totally rad, dude!
The Anderson Theater Department Presents the Horror Classic NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, Friday & Saturday, October 25th and 26th, at 8:00 PM and Midnight! Come with friends and make this spooky production part of your Halloween season experience. The audience will encounter surprises, both fun and scary, with the zombie action turned up a few notches for the midnight shows. All tickets purchased online are reserved seats and are available at andersontheater.ludus.com

Students, do you need to make up hours? If so, we have a Saturday School Now this Thursday, October 10th, from 4:30 -6:30 in Room 248 with Mrs. Salas. You need to come by her office to sign up to attend. We do not have Saturday school this weekend!
SSR will be doing letter jacket fittings TODAY in the weight room at lunch. If you are participating at the varsity level for the first time in XC, football, volleyball, tennis, wrestling, or basketball, and would like a letter jacket, please stop by to see Coach Busby in the training room today (not during class hours).
Austin ISD has designated this week as PRIDE Week. This is a recognition and celebration of our LGBTQ+ students, staff, and families. Students may come by Mr. Farr's room, 338, to pick up an AISD Pride sticker to wear all this week. Thanks for helping make Anderson a safe, inclusive community!
A reminder that retakes are TODAY, October 8, all day in the library. Students should go whenever they have the opportunity. You did NOT have to sign up for retakes. All students that missed photo day the first time or if there was a problem with the first photo should go to the back of the library and take their photo. Faculty and staff, please go as well!
