  • Business Students The first (& planning) meeting for Business Professionals of America (BPS) will be held Wednesday, September 22 room 135, during lunch. 
  • The Anderson Swim Team is ready to make some tidal waves this season as they get ready for their first meet of the 2021-22 season this Saturday at the Sprint Invite in Georgetown. We want to wish all the swimmers competing the best of luck and make Anderson proud!!! Swim smart & swim fast, GO TROJANS!!! 
  • From the Counselors Office:
    10th thru 12th grade Parents & Students:
    The *deadline to request a course as a pass/fail for the Fall semester is 9.24.21 by 4:30pm (no exceptions).  Below you will find a link to the Fall Anderson Pass/Fail Google Form. From this form there is a link to the Pass/Fail document that needs to be downloaded, filled out & signed by a student, parent/guardian, and teacher. After the signatures are obtained the document then needs to be uploaded to the same google form.  There is no need to obtain the counseling signature before submitting the form. Counselors will review the student’s credit history prior to signing and submitting the document to the Principal and Registrar. Also provided in the google form is an additional link to a document that provides more information about how pass/fail works and whether it is advisable.

  • GOLF NEWS:  
    This past weekend, Junior’sDarrelyn Webster & Farah O’Keefe competed in the Elite Series TJGT Lonestar Girls Invitational Golf tournament outside of Dallas. 67 girls were in contention & both our Trojans were in the winner’s circle. Congratulations to Farah for 2nd place (shooting 71-71) and Darrelyn for 5th place (75-69) finishes! 
    Senior, Ethan Parker competed in the LJT North Texas Classic golf tournament. Shooting 73-64, for a 5th place finish!
    Congrats to Trojan Golfers! 
  • PALS will be making dog toys for Austin Pets Alive, Monday, September 20th and Thursday 23rd during lunch
    Bring old t-shirts and come to room 217 during lunch!!
    This will count for NHS & Key Club Service hours, so come help next Monday & Thursday!
     
  • ASL CLUB! Come join ASL Club & ASL Honor Society!! Meetings will be held every THURSDAY after school in Mr. B’s Room 314.

  • STUDENTS … TWILIGHT will begin on Monday, September 20, 2021.  Classes are from 5:30-7p, Monday – Thursday.  If you think you need credit recovery or need to make up hours for the VOE, please see Mrs. Salas in the Registrar’s office for more information. 
  • Join the Anderson Robotics Team, Team 2158, the ausTIN CANs today!
    Are you interested in team sports without the actual sport? How about robotics and engineering without all the Math? Are you interested in graphic design and art without all the portfolios? How about creating your own parts from conception to component? Find a team with people of all different skill sets! Join the Anderson Robotics Team, Team 2158, the ausTIN CANs today! No experience necessary to start! Meeting in the ATC, Room 406 with Ms. Asadourian, after school on Wednesdays and Thursdays @ 5:00pm!  See you there!

  • Hey Anderson! Wouldn’t it be fun to go to a 1950’s themed prom with Zombies?? If that sounds like something you’d be down for, then come to the Musical Information Meeting, Monday Sept 20th after School in the Black Box. Everyone is invited to audition for Zombie Prom: The Musical!! Come find out what being in your high school musical is all about! Monday the 20th in the Black Box.
    It will be a night to dismember!!!
