In May, the Anderson High School PTSA will award three $500 scholarships to three deserving seniors of the 2012 graduating class. All eligible seniors have been sent an email with the explanation of eligibility and a blank application. Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.
Eligible seniors are those graduating in the 2011-12 school year who, along with one parent or guardian, joined the PTSA for this school year on or before Oct. 1, 2011. Additionally, the senior must be seeking post-secondary education, which means enrollment or imminent plans for enrollment at any university, college, junior college, community college, or vocational school. Proof of registration is required before the actual scholarship award monies are paid to the scholarship recipients.
