PSAT SCHEDULED FOR OCT. 12:  FREE FOR JUNIORS; $14 FOR SOPHOMORES
Due to budget constraints this year, the district will no longer provide the PSAT to 10th graders free of charge.  All Anderson 11th graders will continue to take the test for free.  It has been found that taking the PSAT in the 10th grade year is valuable practice in preparation for the junior year PSAT, which qualifies students for National Merit recognition.  It has also been found that taking the PSAT more than once helps students better prepare to take the SAT in their junior and senior years. This is an important exam that Anderson would like to continue to offer to our 10th graders at the national fee of $14 (or $7 for those qualifying for the Free or Reduced Lunch Program).  Registration for 10th graders will take place THIS week of Sept. 12-16 in the Counseling Office either before school, during lunches, or after school.  Exact cash or checks made out to Anderson High School will be accepted.  There is a deadline for the campus to order the exams so we will not offer late registration. The test will be administered on Oct. 12 during the school day on our campus. We only have proctoring resources to cover the 10th and 11th graders taking the test; therefore, this test is not offered to 9th graders.

If you have any questions, please contact PSAT coordinator Jessica Roussel at 414-7914 or at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
