This year we are celebrating 25 years of partnership between Austin and Koblenz, Germany.  The sister cities were formally established in 1992 and the relationships between the two cities and their citizens have been strengthened through school exchanges, such as the one Anderson students have the opportunity to participate in, as well as Summitt Elementary School, ACC and St. Edward's University.  Austin's Mayor Steve Adler has therefore declared that tomorrow, Thursday, May 25th, 2017 will be Koblenz Day.  What an honor to be part of such a wonderful experience!

Attention Spanish Club members!  Today is our last Spanish Club meeting of the year!  We will play Loteria, and  we will elect a new officer for next year.  If YOU are interested in being a candidate, please bring a short prepared speech about why you want to be  a leader of Spanish Club.  See you in Room 310 after school TODAY!
