PAP Geometry Group Quiz 4

The group review quizzes are posted on CANVAS. The keys are also posted.

PRACTICE with these quizzes and then use the keys to check your work. Do not do this in the reverse order. There WILL be tough questions on the test similar to the quiz.

Study hard! :)

PAP Geometry Test 4

Test 4 is on:
MONDAY (10/24) for A-day classes &
TUESDAY (10/25) for B-day classes

Start preparing now for Test 4 - is it a challenging one! Here's what we recommend:
1) Do review 1 (required). All students now have Review 1. Work hard on this. This is a difficult review that is very good practice for the test. If you need another copy, print it from CANVAS.
2) Do Review 2 (required). You will get it next class. It is posted on CANVAS with the answers now. Review 2 is not as difficult as Review 1.
3) Correct your assignments (7-10) - there will be a NOTEBOOK check the class period after the test over all of the assignments this 6-weeks (1-11).
4) Correct Quiz 4. (recommended)

The group review quiz is on Thursday (B) and Friday (A) in class. The solutions and blank quizzes will be posted on CANVAS after school on Friday.
5) Print and redo at least 1 form of this quiz on your own this weekend (recommended). This is a difficult quiz that is good practice for the test.

Finally.... ask for help! Come in to tutoring this week with questions if you have them. There is a staff meeting on Thursday morning, so there will be no tutoring.

If you are absent for any reason on the test day, the makeup is WEDNESDAY (10/26) before or after school. Room numbers TBA.

Study Hard!

PAP Geometry Quiz 4

If you missed class for any reason on Thursday/Friday and still need to make up quiz 4, the makeup is on Monday morning in room 216. Please do not show up any later than 8:30am.

PAP Geometry culminating project

This was also discussed in class, but here it is, for your reference!

This school year students will be given the opportunity to elect to complete a culminating project rather than the final exam in ONE semester of PreAP Geometry. Students are eligible to elect to complete the culminating project rather than the final exam if they achieved a grade of 70% or higher in all three 6-weeks grading periods. This policy will remain the same for the spring final, however, if a student elects to not take the final exam in the fall, they will be required to take the final exam in the spring. Students must take at least one of the two final exams given in the school year, however, they may also choose to take both finals.

PAP Geometry culminating project will include:
1) completing test corrections for all tests taken in the semester (do not throw your tests away!)
2) completing all provided final exam test reviews.

Students who complete the culminating project in place of taking the final exam will be given their semester average as their final exam score as long as all parts of the culminating project are fully complete. If a student fails to complete the project fully, they will be required to take the final exam. Failure to show up to class on the day of the final will result in a score of a zero on the final exam.
