Regulations for Use of Cell Phones and Other Electronic Device
Personal Electronics are banned during instructional time unless required for academic purposes. This means not seen or heard from bell to bell. Students who choose to bring personal electronics may use them during passing periods and lunch. Teachers can choose to allow students to use their devices during guided instruction.
Devices used during class time without teacher permission will be confiscated by the teacher. A confiscated device will be available for pick up at the end of the school day. A $15.00 fee will be required to retrieve the device. Repeat offenses will require parent pick-up in addition to the fee.
We strongly encourage that electronic devices be left at home. If stolen while at school, school personnel will attempt to recover the item, but the school is not responsible for its loss or the value of its loss.
